Frequently Asked Questions
Premium Quality Silver CoinRings
How long will it take to receive my ring?
Random year coin rings typically take 2 business days to manufacture before shipment. Coin rings ordered with specific years typically have a 7 day manufacturing period before shipment. Standard shipping is currently free to the United States and this service usually takes between 3-7 days to receive after shipment. Priority shipping is available at an additional cost and this service usually takes 2-4 days to receive after shipment. It is important to note that although Priority shipping will get you your ring quicker, the manufacturing time prior to shipment date is still in effect as mentioned previously.
Do you ship Internationally?
At this time we are only able to ship Internationally to Canada, and the UK. Additional shipping charges apply for all International shipments. Please contact us BEFORE purchase if shipping outside the United States will be required, for shipping costs and lead times. We will email over a custom invoice with the added shipping charges.
Can I send my own coin?
We are not accepting customer supplied coins at this time. Things can and do occasionally go wrong during the manufacturing process and this gets complicated with customer supplied coins.
Do you offer different finishes on your coin rings?
All rings are automatically shipped with the "Antique" two-tone finish shown in all photos. We can do a standard "Polished" silver finish on the rings by special request. It is important to note that although the polished finish will be the same quality coin as an antique finish coin, the graphics will not "pop" out with the polished finish. It is the two-tone effect that causes the graphics to stand out.
Do you have a retail store?
We do not currently have a retail location. If however you are in the San Bernardino area of Southern California arrangements can be made to see rings in person. Please contact us here for details.
How is ring size determined?
Our coin rings are precisely formed using professional sizing tools, then measured using digital calipers to be accurate to within (.005) that's 5 thousandths of an inch!. See our page on "How to find your ring size"
Will these rings turn my finger green or darken it?
Unlike our competitors, CoinCrafter.com uses only genuine silver coins for our coin rings. Beware of other sellers using "Clad" (copper/nickel) coins for their rings which often cause allergic reactions . Since these rings are real silver it is very unlikely that the metal would have a reaction with your skin. Sometimes the polish from the silver polishing cloths can slightly darken some peoples skin though. If this happens you can simply wash the polish off the inside of the ring with hot water and dish soap.
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted for a period of 15 days from confirmed date of delivery (via tracking information). Contact us BEFORE returning any merchandise for an authorization and instructions. Returned products must be in undamaged/new condition with all the original packaging and packing slip. Refunds will be issued for the original cost of the product minus any shipping costs, which are non-refundable. All shipping charges associated with returns or re-sizing will be paid by the customer
Do you offer re-sizing on your coin rings?
CoinCrafter.com offers 1 free re-size on our coin rings within 30 days of receipt. Free resizing offer does not include shipping costs. Re-sizing must be within the range of sizes offered on our store page for that specific ring.
Contact us BEFORE sending in a ring for re-sizing for complete instructions and shipping costs.
Why are some years not offered for rings?
You may have noticed that not all years are available for coin rings. There are several reasons for this. First, most United States silver coins were minted prior to 1965. Second, certain coins are rarer than others which creates what are called "Key years". These key year coins can be much more expensive and sometimes even impossible to find in good enough condition to make nice coin rings. CoinCrafter.com also does not want to turn important coins for collectors into rings out of respect for the coins and coin collectors. The years available for our coin rings are typically common years that we can aquire regularly.
